SKYDEX announces Alvaro Vaselli as new President and CEO

The Board of Directors of SKYDEX Technologies, Inc. (SKYDEX) is pleased to announce the appointment of Alvaro Vaselli as President & CEO effective August 15, 2019.  

August 19, 2019 - Centennial, CO

 “After a thorough and deliberate selection process, the Board of Directors is excited to welcome Alvaro,” said Frank Mendicino, SKYDEX Board Chairman. “Alvaro is a proven leader who blends an innovative approach to product development, business vision and the ability to build teams in a dynamic environment. His vision for how SKYDEX technology will be integrated and experienced around the world will guide SKYDEX as we expand product innovation and growth.”

Mr. Vaselli earned a Bachelor's Degree in Production and Mechanical Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia Industrial and a Master’s Degree in Marketing from Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing, both in São Paulo, Brazil.  He started his career with Dow Chemical in São Paulo before joining LyondellBasell (formerly ARCO Chemical), where he led the development of ARCO’s business in Brazil.  After moving to the United States with ARCO, he was appointed Senior Vice President at FXI (formerly Foamex International) and then President of Personal Care at Tredegar Corporation. He was more recently Founder / CEO of Nuvanna, a direct-to-consumer business in the mattress space.  Mr. Vaselli has spent his career working with materials and products designed and developed to enhance end-user comfort.
