SKYDEX and Glagio do Brasil Partner to Develop Industry-Leading Lightweight Level III Ballistic Plate
SKYDEX and Glagio do Brasil collaborate to introduce the PBSA 1040 ballistic plate featuring a lightweight design, low profile and advanced trauma reduction technology.
Centennial, CO., June 13, 2024 – SKYDEX, a global leader in advanced impact mitigation and energy management solutions, and Glagio Do Brasil, a pioneer in ballistic protection manufacturing in Brazil, announce a strategic collaboration aimed at advancing ballistic protection solutions in Brazil as well as internationally. The collaboration has resulted in the development of the PBSA 1040 ballistic plate, a Level III armor plate that sets a new standard in lightweight, high-performance protection.
The PBSA 1040 ballistic plate incorporates the newest ballistic trauma reduction layer (BTRL) engineering by SKYDEX to reduce the weight and thickness of the plate in comparison to plates utilizing traditional trauma reducing materials.
